Setting up your CMMS Software so you can find stuff later
CMMS Software is a database of maintenance information. It is VERY important when you setup your Computerized Maintenance Management Software to add attributes to records that allow you to sort, filter and find you data quickly, easily and logically. All CMMS Software packages include attributes in their records to allow you to do this. One record to work with in your future will be work orders. Your work orders should include a code to tell you what kind of work order this is. This is often called a Work Order Type.
